Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt quite clinical with a medical couch rather than a traditional bed, and the lack of toiletries and inadequate lighting made getting ready a challenge. Being in the annex, it felt chilly in the morning. On the bright side, the service was impeccable, with staff always willing to help despite seeming overworked at times. The location was stunning, offering beautiful views of the River Ness and just a short walk from the town center. Dining had its ups and downs, with a good selection of continental breakfast but some expectations not met. Overall, a stay with notable highs and lows.
The hotel is beautifully located right next to the scenic river, offering a peaceful stay with friendly staff and good food options. However, the early weekend breakfast timing may not suit all guests. Rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay until noon check-out.
The hotel had great views from the rooms and was a good size, but it was too close to a room hosting weddings with loud music till midnight. The exterior looked dirty and run down with workmen blocking our entry, which was disappointing.
The hotel's location is superb, directly opposite the river and close to the city center, offering easy access to various attractions. The rooms are beautifully designed and well-located as per my request, providing a comfortable stay. However, the dining experience was in a different building, while the service went above and beyond despite a minor issue with ringing the bell.
I was delighted with the hotel's marvelous location by the riverside, just a few minutes away from the High Street in Inverness. The rooms were spacious and lovely, but there was a slight smell of sewage which may be due to weather problems or blocked drains nearby. The service meant a lot to me as the staff reacted quickly to my requests and were so friendly and helpful. The dining experience at the Glen Mhor hotel was superb, offering a great range of foods, although I didn't like the fat or oil some breakfast items were served in. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location is absolutely stunning with open views across the River Ness and a short walk into the town center. The service was mostly pleasant and accommodating, although some small mistakes were noticeable. The dining experience, while satisfactory, could use some improvements. The rooms, despite being in a quiet annex, needed some minor maintenance and had a clinical feel to them.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The rooms were large and comfortable, offering a nice view of the little garden, but they tended to get too hot despite efforts to adjust the radiator. The location was excellent, overlooking the River Ness and just a short walk to the town center, although some noise from outside disturbed my sleep. The service was fantastic overall, but the reception was a bit lackluster at times. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes not meeting expectations. The facilities were decent, without major issues.
The hotel overlooks the river, offering lovely views, but the room was very small and not worth the high price. The service was attentive and accommodating despite the busy marathon weekend. The location is on the banks of the River Ness, ideal for exploring on foot, but the dining options were limited. Overall, it's a mixed experience with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms in the adjoining house were very hot, even with the heating turned low, and the noise was awful, affecting my overall experience. However, the location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city center with lovely views of the River Ness. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, while basic, was spotlessly clean and adequate for my needs. However, the communication regarding the transition arrangements was lacking. Our accommodation was in the adjacent 'townhouse,' which did not meet the modern standards shown in the pictures. The location was picturesque but had some drawbacks, and the dining experience was not up to par with both service and food quality being subpar.
I stayed in the adjoining house/annex but had to walk around and back for meals in the rain, and the bed was hard. However, the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a view of the river. The service was excellent, with delicious buffet options and helpful staff accommodating special requests. The location was superb, with open views of the River Ness and a short walk to the town center. The dining experience had a large choice of continental meals but was a bit overdone for my taste.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the beautiful river and bridge, creating a lovely atmosphere, especially at night with all the lights. The super king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided, like the armchairs, added to the coziness of the room. However, the adjacent car park entrance brought a bit of unwanted traffic noise. Overall, a wonderful room with a great view and comfortable bed.
The hotel had basic but pleasant and clean rooms. Despite some noise from the bar until late at night and early morning, the room was wonderful, very spacious with a large bathroom that included a disabled shower with a seat. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness during our stay, which we really enjoyed overall. The location was excellent for our trip, especially being close to the Eden Court Theatre and the city center. The dining experience was a mix of waiting time and high-quality self-service options. The facilities provided were decent, though there were some recommendations on improving water temperature consistency. Price-wise, it was reasonable but with some ups and downs.
The hotel rooms are exceptionally clean and warm, offering all the little extras found in top-class accommodation. The staff really care about your satisfaction, with a high level of service quality. The location is very convenient, close to shopping malls and with an impressive river view. The dining experience could be improved with more local produce options, but the home-made pastries are a nice touch. The facilities are well-maintained and offer a good range of amenities.
I was delighted with the hotel's unique attic conversion room, despite its curious shape, for £170 per night, with a view of the adjacent building. The service was excellent, starting with a warm welcome at Glen Moir for breakfast and later moving us to a charming 2-bedroom cottage. The location was perfect for my Loch Ness Marathon as it sits by the beautiful River Ness and just across from the Eden Court Theater, with basilica and river views all around.
